Job Title

Physical Therapist – Pediatric Inpatient / Outpatient

Contract (13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice) | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 schedule (traveler's choice) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in weekend coverage, with approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month expected
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist (PT) License required (pending license accepted; license must be in hand for auto offer — estimated processing time 10–12 weeks)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; first-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Hepatitis B vaccine required; titers and declinations are not accepted by the facility
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be disclosed and included at the time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric patient populations
• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
