Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Must have active PT License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Pediatric experience Description: Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist role available. Assignment length is 13 or 26 weeks. Shift options include 4x10 or 5x8 days. First-time travelers are accepted with 2 years of experience. Experience in acute care and adaptive equipment is required. Skills in assessment, body mechanics, and pediatric conditions are necessary. Some weekend shifts are required, approximately 1-2 shifts per month. Position covers both inpatient and outpatient pediatric populations. Applicants must have valid state license, with the option for pending licenses. Reference requirements include 2 references covering the last 3 years. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to float within the facility. Housing options may be limited and should be researched prior to the assignment. Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours spent; completion is self-reported. All time off requests must be included during the submission process. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Permanent staff must be separated for a minimum period before returning as travelers. Travelers should be prepared to take breaks between assignments.
