Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings to accurately identify clients’ issues and create personalized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health counselor at Medchoice Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. This role requires not only strong clinical skills but also cultural competence, as you will engage with clients from various life experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Mental Health Practitioner, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Proven experience and specialized training in mental health counseling, exhibiting a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients to foster an effective therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n
